Club Information - Gradings
Gradings generally take place every 3 months. You will be able to take a grading when you have gained the required number of hours training and are competent with the various techniques. When you are successful you will be entitled to wear a coloured belt and will move on to more advanced techniques ensuring continuous development.
Our belt system is as follows:
- 10th Kyu - Red
- 9th Kyu - Blue
- 8th Kyu - Purple White Stripe
- 7th Kyu - Purple
- 6th Kyu - Yellow
- 5th Kyu - Orange
- 4th Kyu - Green White Stripe
- 3rd Kyu - Green
- 2nd Kyu - Brown White Stripe
- 1st Kyu - Brown
- 1st Dan Black
